Founder & Managing Director
The Founder and Managing Director of M/s Sowbhagya Biotech Private Limited, is a visionary and having the mission to enrich the Agriculture System by the application of Innovative Organic Agri inputs to improve agri productivity in an eco friendly and cost effective manner.
After having post-graduation in Plant Physiology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi during 1983. He served, for about 20 years, in various Public Sector and Private Sector organizations.
He established M/s Sowbhagya Biotech during 2003 as professionally managed and Technology Driven Organization and also setup R&D Centre later on which has been recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR). Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
He started his entrepreneurship journey by successful commercialization of innovative Bio-stimulant as an import substitute. Subsequently, many innovative molecules have been added as an Organic Agri Inputs by establishing Technological Collaborations with various National level Organizations in the field of Organic Agriculture. He firmly believes that Organic Agriculture is the right approach which will sustain the health of soils, ecosystems and Farmers. Presently in order to meet the market demand, three manufacturing facilities have been created in and around Hyderabad. A unique marketing strategy has been adopted for the supply of the products to various corporate companies as well as government sector for better sustenance in the market being a first generation entrepreneur. He has been honored with various awards, on behalf of the company, by A.P State and Government of India. The Company is further strengthening it’s operations by commercializing innovative and organic nutritional inputs for livestock and human.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma Ph.D.-Natural Products, is an eminent scientist of international repute in the field of Biotechnology and having an excellent Academic & Industrial track record. He had his graduation, post-graduation & Doctorate degree from Agra University, Agra. He is lead Scientist in the area of Natural Products, Bio, Organic and Agri & Livestock Nutrients.
He successfully had done his Doctoral Thesis during 1985, in the area of Natural Products. His area of specialization in R&D, Scale-Up & commercialization of Bio tech processes. He has total experience of about 40 years in the area of Applied Biotechnology. He has developed 11 processes & successfully commercialized in various industries.
Some of his salient contributions are establishment of viable linkages with various R&D labs and Academia, successful commercialization of various biotech process: like Proteinates, Gluconates, lactates. Propionates etc. These products find applications in Pharma, Food, Feed, Organic agriculture etc. globally.
He has published (80 publications) his research findings in various reputed International & National Scientific Journals, published from various countries and contributed as co-author in six books. He has various academic honors to his credit, some of them are like: Member, New York Academy of Science, New York, USA; Advisor to the Governing Body -American Biographical Institute, USA, Editor International Journal Poultry Guide and Pollution Research, Expert Reviewer of International Journal “Resources, Conservation and Recycling”. Dr. D. Samuel Sparjan Babu, M. Sc., Ph. D.
Head, R&D Division
Dr. D. Samuel Sparjan is a highly versatile professional biotechnologist having more than 15 years of diverse experience in the laboratory management, Academic Research, Networking, and Industrial Production. His research experience includes formulation, analysis, and evaluation of innovative organic Agri and livestock products based on microbial fermentation.
He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from KL University, with research undertaken at the ICAR-Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research. He has 6 patents and 25 peer-reviewed National and International Research papers and book chapters to his credit. He serves as a reviewer for a number of national and international indexed journals. He is a Life Member of several National and International Professional Societies. He is the recipient of two Best Young Scientist Awards.
